“The Hunt for Dark Matter”

Abstract
The ordinary matter that makes up our lives is only 15% of the matter
budget of the universe. Scientists all over the world are using novel
techniques to actively seek to discover what constitutes the remaining
matter which is known as dark matter. In this talk, I will discuss the
evidence for dark matter and explain the detection techniques which are
being used to search for dark matter. I will also present current results
from the leading experiments in the field.
